ND Water Week

In honor of World Water Day, join Notre Dame’s week-long celebration of all things H2O taking place March 21-25, 2022. 

ND Water Week is sponsored by H2O@ND, an initiative comprised of over 50 faculty members from 10 departments, who are working together to expand collaborative water research at Notre Dame.

Additional partners include the Environmental Change Initiative, Eck Institute for Global Health, Office of Sustainability, Student Government Department of Sustainability and Campus Dining.

Hydro-go Seek: Scavenger Hunt

All-week scavenger hunt to discover the visible and invisible ways in which water contributes to campus life. The winning residence hall will select the location of a new water bottle filling station! Begin your hunt here.

Movie: Erin Brockovich

3:00–5:00 PM, DeBartolo Performing Art Center’s Browning Cinema
Experience the Academy Award-winning film, Erin Brockovich (2000), starring Julia Roberts. A dramatization of the true story of Erin Brockovich, who rallied against an energy corporation for its role in groundwater contamination.

This is a free but ticketed event. Tickets will be available at the Ticket Office starting one hour prior to film. There are no advanced reservations for this show.  

 

Water Week Dinner

4:30–7:00 PM, North & South Dining Halls
Enjoy a special Water Week inspired dinner menu focused on low water impact foods. The meal includes gulf shrimp, caldo de siete mares, cauliflower steaks with mushroom gravy, and infused water.
