Research Symposium 2022

ND Energy announces its fifth annual research symposium focused on research and scholarship in support of the 2021-22 Notre Dame Forum on Care for our Common Home: Just Transition to a Sustainable Future. The symposium will be held on Thursday, March 31, from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. in 205/206/207 McKenna Hall.

All members of the Notre Dame community are invited to attend. Pre-registration is not required for any of the presentations, yet registration to guarantee a boxed lunch at the luncheon presentation is now closed. We hope you will join us for as much of the symposium as your schedule will allow.

During the symposium, faculty affiliates and research associates will discuss current research projects and engage participants in conversations to stimulate action towards transitioning to a cleaner, more sustainable energy future for generations to come. The agenda will include presentations focused on the following topics and a poster session with postdoctoral scholars and graduate and undergraduate students sharing a broad range of energy-related research projects during a networking reception.

  • Complex Transfer Reactions
  • Integrated Energy Systems
  • Water Treatment Technologies
  • Advanced Materials
  • Innovation Ecosystem
  • Waste Heat Recovery Optimization
  • Workforce Development in Materials Engineering for Sustainability

Please note that University COVID-19 masks and visitors policies will be honored.
