Olivia Ginn

Dr. Olivia Ginn recently completed her Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is an environmental engineer with a bit of microbiology, public health and environmental science sprinkled in. Her Ph.D. work primarily focused on antibiotic resistance and enteric pathogens in extramural bioaerosols in cities with poor sanitation which she plans to build upon as she expands her research scope towards environmental applications in ecology. Outside of research, Olivia enjoys honing her thrifting skills, chasing wildlife and most importantly obsessing over her pets.

Dr. Ginn joins ECI as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and is leading a project focused on the environmental fate and transport of antibiotic resistance in the environment and working on several other projects related to environmental DNA applications in conservation.
